Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP)

LIEAP is a federally funded program that is administered through the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC). Members who qualify, based on income, receive assistance in the form of a credit to the provider of the primary home heating source. If a member's primary heating source is electricity, and they qualify for the program, LIEAP will make payments to Glacier Electric to help cover their heating costs.

Glacier Electric Crisis Fund

Glacier Electric sponsors and administers the Glacier Electric Low Income Energy Crisis Program each year. This fund offers assistance to members who are in a documented financial crisis. Members may receive assistance from this fund only one time per calendar year. Funds are expended based on application and documentation of crisis on a first come first served basis.
